great news to hear you guys are coming back to Porto Alegre, Brazil!!!
As an old time listener (21 years since I found my first Toy Dolls LP
in a dumpster, no cover and a lot of scratches... Huge fan ever since!!!!)
I am very pleased to know I will finally get to hear you!!! Last time
you´ve been here in Porto Alegre, I had my ticket to the concert...
got stucked in an emergency and just made it to the club a few moments
before the show starts... But, unfortunelly, some guys from a punk gang
tryed to break in to the show, they were in line in front of me and
had no tickets, so the club was closed, nobody else got in... had the
ticket in my hands and had to stay out of the club, cursing the security
people... Anyway, I would like to know how if you guys had time, due
to the tight tour schedule, to hang out in the cities you go, visit
some clubs, interact with the local people... Let me know if you usually
do that, and I will ask you guys for a beer here in Porto Alegre (my
treat!!!! Just hope you guys don´t drink too much... ehehehehheheeheh)
Anyway, nice talking to you, and can´t wait till september!!!
Hopefully, no surprises this time, and I will finally see you alive!!!

especially the clip on youtube Duelling Banjos, so much so, that i have
had to buy him a Banjo. He now wants the same sunglasses and i cannot

in the UK, not sure they still have them in stock anymore now though,

my friends showed me Nellie The Elephant and I instantly fell in love
with your music. I went out and bought the "dig that groove baby"
and "our last album?". the toy dolls are now one of my favorite
bands, definitely my favorite punk band by far. I live in the Seattle,
Washington area, there's a place called The Showbox that would be perfect

Hi Good question, album will be sometime in 2011, I know that's a bit
vague, just been so busy with festivals and shows at the moment! I am
really pleased you enjoyed the Manchester gig, it was a nice one! I
guess we will be back in the UK eventually!

Its been long time I have not heard about your band and just by coincident
I saw some youtube video , then google search shows me your website.
Of course first thing - tour dates ! Wow - you still perform!! Cool
- then I see that most of the gigs are fests that you are one of many
bands but in Russia it seems that you will be main guest :) I would
love to see you overthere, I start to plan my trip to fly to Moscow
where you have gig on Sept 10th. I see that you have day after ( Sept
11th ) another event in St Petersburg. I would be happy to visit both
of them. So now my question , how do you get from Moscow to St Peter
? By train , by plane ? I would like to join you guys , if you dont
mind of course ;)

I was lucky enough to get the chance to see the band (1st time) in Birmingham
in 2007 on the last UK tour and the show certainly lived up to expectation!!
I know the band is very fond of the summer festival scene and was wondering
why you’ve never played probably the biggest of them all, Rebellion
in Blackpool? I was there 2 years ago and it was amazing and I’m
sure you’d have a great fan base there as I say may people with

First I'll let you know that I don't want to ask anything (though it's
the ask Olga section), so it's more like a regular e-mail, but I'll
just tell you some things if you dont mind. :) What I want to tell you
is that I've never been involved to punk music, never listened to the
genre itself, I have nothing to do with it, but one of my friends showed
Toy Dolls to me about 4 years ago (I'm 20 years old now), and from that
moment I became a fan! I also was surprised that a punk band can touch
me this much, but it happened! So from that time, I'm a pretty active
Toy Dolls listener who knows (almost) every single song of yours and
stuff. Then in May 2007 you did a gig here in Budapest, Hungary (in
the open-air club Zöld Pardon), and when I've been told that y'all
will play here, I was totally geeked about it! The concert was a huge
blast for me, and after that I looked forward if you came here again
in the near future, but you unfortunately didn't. Then I found out that
you'd play in Sziget Festival this summer, so I felt like even if I
couldn't afford it, I just have to be there! So somehow I made it, and
it was even a bigger buzz to see you again! I enjoyed it A LOT! So I'm
not a punk or anything, I'm mostly into other kind of music, but I can
feel the music that you've been doing for 31 years now, and I'm thankful
for it. I really hope that I can see you in Hungary as soon as possible,
at your earliest convenience again, plus I really hope that I'll be
able to shake hands and pass the time of day with you Olga, even if
it's a couple minutes! So I wish you all the best and keep doing what

I'd like to thank you Olga for signing my two Toy Dolls albums (we met
after gig by the fence behind the stage. I was wearing Toy Dolls t-shirt.
I hope you remember :) I take my guitar to sign too but the security
don't want to let me on the backstage. You should play more at eastern
Europe. We've got nice club in Lodz (central Poland) called "Dekompresja".
Many punk rock bands play there, like Anti-Nowhere League, The Exploited,
oh and The Adicts play there at 22th August. By the way; The gig was
AWESOME! :)
