So... we meet again! |
Since parting company with record label TOYS
FACTORY of Tokyo, Japan, the lads have kept a low profile in the land of
the rising sun. But now a new deal has taken place! This time with FLAVOUR
OF SOUND LTD also based in Tokyo, Japan, and OUR LAST ALBUM? will be released
later this year, more details when they are confirmed. Hopefully the release will be followed by some long awaited shows! |
More shows in other countries this year are
still being discussed as we speak! As soon as we have any concrete news we will let you lot know, I can say that Spain is highly likley for mid October. The lads growing popularity there has resulted in five or six more towns and cities requesting appearances of the band, these will be places not yet visited on the OUR LAST TOUR? tour! But, as I said, nothing is conformed just yet! We are aware that other countries are eargally awaiting news of gigs, especially South America for end of September/October. Promoters there are in negotiations with THE TOY DOLLS management now! We are also on tenterhooks waiting for news! Keep checking the tour dates! |
Tommy Goober has been added to the punk polls
list! Yes, Tommy has been listed along side some of the greatrest punk bass players. Tommy has toured extensively with Goober Patrol, Vanilla Pod and now, of course, THE TOY DOLLS. Good luck to him, get voting for Tommy here. |

On the 26th July, Olga travelled up North
to guest on a recording session with his old friends Crashed Out. And earlier on in July Olga met up with former bass player Reb for drinks in London. A good time was had by all, click here for pics of the events. Special thanks go out to Reb (a guy with the most infectious smile EVER!) for supplying his pics. |
And lastly this month i'm very proud to bring
you an exclusive interview with former TOY DOLLS bass player Dean
James, AKA Dean Robson. Dean and i have spent the last few weeks in conversation, click here to read what got said. In addition there's also a special Dean Robson Photo Gallery for your delectation! |
Until next time! TTFN Ciaron |
